Lesson.
매일 매일 봐도 난 더 좋아져
매일 means everyday. When they say it twice, you can think of it as EVERY EVERY day. :) But it's really no difference. The phrase 봐도 is made of two parts: the verb 보다 which means to see, and the grammar structure -(present tense)도 which means even though [verb stem 보 + 아도]. So, 봐도 means even if I look (at Mr. Chu!) everyday. 나 [me/I] + ㄴ which is a topic marker, indicating the sentence is about me, stating what I feel. 더 means more. 좋아져 is made up of two parts as well: 좋다 which means to be good (or for something to be good, in other words, you like it), and the grammar structure -(present tense)지다 which means to become (verb) [verb stem 좋 + 아지다]. So, 좋아지다 means to become good. In this case, 지다 is also in present tense (지 +어 = 져). So this sentence can roughly translated, even if I see you every every day, I like you more and more (you become more good).
두번 세번 나의 볼을 꼬집어 봐도
두 is derived from 둘 (두 is its descriptive form), which means two. 두 is describing 번 which can be described as time or an occurrence - so, two times or twice. Same goes for 세번 [세 is derived from 셋] which means thrice, or three times. 나 [me/I] + 의 [possession marker] means my. 볼 means cheek, and 을 is added as an object marker - marking 볼 as the object of the verb (the object is the target of the verb). In this case, the verb is 꼬집다 which means to pinch, what are we pinching? The object - my cheek. Attached to the verb 꼬집다 is the grammar structure -(present tense) 보다 which means to TRY and do verb. So 꼬집어보다 means to try and pinch. However, there is another grammar structure attached, here again, we have -(present tense)도 [even though]. So, even though I try to pinch my cheek two or three times... (next sentence).
마치 dreaming dreaming 꿈을 꾸는 듯
마치 is a word that kind of means like, or "as." In my opinion, it's often used as a signal word to indicate we are talking about something being LIKE something else. 마치 dreaming dreaming, it's like (or as if I'm) dreaming. 꿈 means dream, and 꿈을 꾸다 means to dream. However, we take the verb stem 꾸 and chance it to the descriptive form +는 to describe 듯 which means to be like or similar. So, 꿈을 꾸는 듯 means for it to be like dreaming (same as first line).
생각만 해도 난 미소가
생각 means thought, and added onto it is the grammar structure -만 which means ONLY. 하다 means to do - added to the phrase before 생각만 하다 means to only think. Added to 하다 is (again!) the grammar structure -(present tense)도 [even though]. So, 생각만 해도 means even though I only think (about Mr. Chu). 난 [I + topic marker] 미소 [smile]! So, even though (or it might be more convenient to think about it as even when) I only think, I smile!
